Very nice stories from the past were revealed by ERT1’s #Parea, including one about one of Arletta’s most beloved songs, the legendary Serenade.
The song describes the separation of a couple who have a cat with this name and as it was revealed it existed but it was not Arleta’s but Xenia Kalogeropoulou’s!
The great actress and theater person has a weakness for cats: “I had a cat called Serenata and Mariannina Kriezis (s.s. the lyricist of the song) really liked that name and made it into a song,” revealed Xenia Kalogeropoulou.
