The Regional Directorate of the Police in Vienna assumes that the child was killed due to the injuries on his body. In this connection, the police detained the 29-year-old mother of the child, who was also injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to the portal Krone.at the mother is facing reasonable suspicion of murder and allegedly inflicted the injuries on herself with the use of a knife.
