How much did Charles do Bronx get paid for the fight?
Ultimate distributed some bonuses among five fighters. Two for Fight of the Night, plus three for Performance of the Night. On the list are Charles do Bronx (Fight of the Night), Jon Jones, Oban Elliott, Ramiz Brahimaj and Michael Chandler (Fight of the Night).
Each received the award of 50 thousand dollars (around R$289 thousand at current prices).

How was the Bronx vs. Michael Chandler fight?
Charles took the lead at the beginning of the fight, establishing his control in the center of the octagon and seeking aggression with the first blows. When he attempted a direct shot, he felt an unexpected slight touch from Chandler, but that wasn’t enough to stop his pressure. In the first takedown attempt, Charles managed to take down the American and, already in the superior position, went for a leg lock.
In the second round, Charles started with a strong elbow to Chandler’s knee, which seemed to be intended to open up space for more attacks. A sequence of straight punches knocked Chandler off balance, and it seemed that the end of the fight was near, as in the first fight. However, Chandler managed to resist and survive the beginning of the round. Oliveira continued to apply pressure, landing a solid hook and a knee to the head. Chandler responded with rights, but was taken down again by Charles, who quickly reached mount.
In the third round, Chandler tried to move more frequently, circulating around the octagon, while Charles put pressure on him. The American defended another takedown attempt, but was unable to avoid the impact of a devastating uppercut. Chandler even landed a jab and a straight shot, but Charles soon returned with good blows, grabbed his opponent and took him to the ground again, this time taking his back. Chandler fought to avoid the submission, but even so, he received punches from the Brazilian. Charles tried to finish anyway, but the American resisted.

In the fourth round, Chandler seemed to be aware that only a knockout victory could guarantee him victory. He fired dangerous crosses, but Charles, despite absorbing some punches, was patient and managed to catch him again. The Brazilian took Chandler to his back once again, this time with more than three minutes of control. Chandler tried to move to escape, but Charles found an opening to put his forearm under his chin, almost finishing him, but the American resisted.
In the final round, Chandler knew he needed a knockout to win. A stomp by Charles on Chandler’s knee left him visibly shaken, but the American still managed to land a right that made the Brazilian falter. Charles immediately grabbed hold of Chandler to avoid a possible finishing blow, and the two exchanged punches and elbows. The former champion managed to recover and, even with a last straight shot from Chandler that almost knocked him out, Charles managed a saving takedown with a minute to go, regaining Chandler’s back.
