Qual foi o problema de Gerson, do Flamengo, na Seleção Brasileira? image

Midfielder Gerson, a starter for the Brazilian team in the team’s last two games, had a problem this Saturday (11/16) and did not participate in training.

The Seleção squad worked during the afternoon, at Barradão, in Salvador (BA), aiming for the match against Uruguay, on Tuesday (11/19), at Arena Fonte Nova.

But what happened to Gerson? THE Sporting News explains.

What happened to Gerson in the Brazilian team?

Gerson suffered from intestinal discomfort and was unable to train this Saturday. No further information was released about the problem. The expectation is that he will return to training on Sunday and be able to face Uruguay.

However, while Gerson was unable to train, midfielder André returned to activities after pain in his hip. He hadn’t even been on the bench last Thursday (14/11), in the 1-1 draw against Venezuela.
