The CPI das Bets may vote, on Tuesday (19), on the call for artists and digital influencers involved in the promotion of virtual betting platforms.
Among them are the lawyer and influencer Deolane Bezerrathe singers Wesley Safadão e Jojo Todynho and the comedian Tirulipa. The meeting is scheduled for 11 am.
79 are summons requests. The CPI rapporteur, senator Soraya Thronicke (Vamos-MS)is one of those who wants to listen to artists.

“Your participation is essential to understand how influential figures help to expand the betting market and whether they are aware of the possible economic and social damage that this activity can cause”, argues Soraya.
Summons can also reach businesspeople investigated for money laundering. The senator Izalci Lucas (PL-DF) calls for Deolane Bezerra to be called up in this context. She was arrested in September by Operation Integration, of the Pernambuco Civil Police, which is investigating a laundering scheme involving illegal gambling. The parliamentarian suggests that the influencer testify as a witness.
“Deolane can clarify how influencers have been used by betting platforms to attract consumers. It can also provide details about the network of influencers that promoted platforms under investigation”, explains Izalci.

Deolane’s mother, Solange Alves Bezerra, and the influencer’s lawyer, Adélia Soares, may also be called to testify. Solange was arrested along with her daughter during Operation Integration, but both were released by court order.
Investigated
Senator Izalci also suggests the testimony of ten people under investigation by the CPI. All were indicted or had their names associated with Operation Integration. They are:
- Marcela Tavares Henrique da Silva Campos, partner at Esportes Gaming;
- José André da Rocha Neto, representative of BPX Bets;
- Aislla Sabrina Truta Henriques Rocha, managing partner of BPX Bets;
- Edson Antonio Lenzi Filho, director of Pay Brokers Cobrança;
- Darwin Henrique da Silva, owner of the company Caminho da Sorte;
- Boris Maciel Padilha, linked to HSF Entretenimento;
- Thiago Lima Rocha, partner at Zelu Brasil Payments;
- Rayssa Ferreira Santana Rocha, partner at Zelu Brasil Payments;
- Italo Tavares de Moura, partner at ST Soft Desenvolvimento de Programas;
- Djalma Junior dos Santos, partner at ST Soft Desenvolvimento de Programas.
Authorities
Another batch of requests suggests testimony from public authorities. Two of them ask for the summons of the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad (PT), and the Union’s attorney general, Jorge Messias.

Parliamentarians can also vote on an invitation to the president of the Central Bank (BC), Roberto Campos Neto, and the summons of the director general of the Federal Police (PF), Andrei Passos Rodrigues.
Also on the list of possible candidates are the presidents of the Financial Activities Control Council (Coaf), Ricardo Liáo, and the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade), Alexandre Cordeiro Macedo.
Information
The Bets CPI can also vote on 57 requests for information. Among them are requests to Coaf for 37 financial intelligence reports (RIFs). The documents can identify operations with signs of crimes. Among the targets are individuals and companies linked to online betting and payment platforms.

The CPI das Bets was installed on November 12th to investigate the influence of online betting on the budget of Brazilian families and the possible association with criminal organizations. The work of the collegiate will last until April of next year. The president is Senator Dr. Hiran (PP-RR).
