Biel and Rezende participate in Bahia’s penultimate training session before facing Palmeiras

Bahia’s penultimate training session before facing Palmeiras this Wednesday (20) came with special participation – on the morning of this Monday (18), Biel and Rezende, away for medical reasons, participated in part of the tricolor preparation.

Initially, the players underwent an activation with physiotherapists and trainer Danilo Augusto at the gym, before starting training at CT Evaristo de Macedo.

The training itself started with a quick warm-up with a ball, followed by an activity carried out on half of the field. With the team divided into two teams, the exercise focused on coordination and spacing.

Changing fields, the players did technical work on a reduced field with coach Rogério Ceni. Individually, some finalizations were made, along with specific work for each player’s position.

The missing duo did not follow the entire training session, going to special preparation after spending time in activities with their teammates. In addition to them, left-back Iago Borduchi was also absent from the team, undergoing medical treatment.

Bahia’s last training session before taking the field for the 34th round of the Brazilian Championship will be tomorrow (19) in the morning. The team’s objective now is to move up the table, where they are in eighth place, with 46 points, just one less than Cruzeiro, who occupies seventh place.
