In Rio for the G20, Macron walks along the Copacabana waterfront at night

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, was seen walking along the shore of Copacabana Beach, in the south of Rio de Janeiro, on Sunday night (17).

Wearing a suit, the French leader walked along the beach promenade alongside his wife, Brigitte Macron, at around 11pm (Brasília time), recorded by the news anchor CNN Débora Bergamasco.

Macron to participate in the , between Monday (18) and Tuesday (19).

During the days of the summit, Macron is expected to have meetings with several world leaders – including the Brazilian president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT)

Macron will also have private meetings with the presidents of China, Xi Jinping, South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, and the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

Before arriving in Rio, the French leader passed through Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he met with President Javier Milei – who also arrived in Rio this Sunday.

The leaders’ bilateral meetings in Rio have taken place in spaces provided by the Museum of Modern Art (MAM) – the main stage of the summit -, but also in hotels where foreign delegations are staying.
