Marina Belandi, who is running for president of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/AC) went public on Sunday night (17), questioning her opponent for the position Rodrigo Aiache about his statements in search of a debate.

According to the lawyer, he had previously run away from a scheduled meeting to discuss the plans and projects of each ticket that would be held on a TV in the capital of Acre, but now, almost close to election day, he wants the moment to be held.
“My opponent simply created false narratives and victimized himself, like a child who, when he sees he is losing the game, takes the ball home. His new strategy to hide the data of his ineffectiveness in management was that I would be running away from a debate”, he states.
Belandi highlights that neither she nor her advisor received a formal invitation for the occasion, but confronts Aiache for a debate in a space that is neutral, since according to her, the opponent wants the event to take place on a partner portal of his.
“I am ready for the debate in neutral territory so that we can discuss projects and the future for the defense of the legal profession. I even suggest that we do it on any TV station, all it takes is the interest of the vehicle and the call”, he said.
She also questions the sudden change of the candidate for re-election to the presidency of the Order. “I find it strange that he now wants a debate, since this week he obtained an injunction from the electoral commission prohibiting me from speaking ill of his administration”, he pointed out.
