The Chamber’s bench informed that it will carry out an act on Tuesday (19) to archive the amnesty PL, which grants pardon to those convicted of the January 8 coup acts. The party announced that parliamentarians from other parties should also participate.
If approved, the bill would also grant amnesty to those involved in the bomb attack at Brasília International Airport, on Christmas Eve 2022.
The “Without Amnesty” event is scheduled for 2pm on Tuesday, in the Shorthand Hall, in front of the bust of Rubens Paiva, former federal deputy, impeached and imprisoned by the military regime, whose body was reported missing in 1971.
The campaign against the progress of the amnesty PL gained strength after the attack on the headquarters of the Three Powers last week, in which Francisco Wanderley Luiz blew himself up in front of the STF (Supreme Federal Court).
The possibility is still being investigated by the Courts and the Federal Police.
