Former Brazilian National Team and Barcelona striker Romário commented on the statements made by Brazilian Betis striker Vitor Roque.
“Not just Vitor Roque, there are a lot of people you have to watch to learn a little. There’s no point in giving [dica]that they will not learn. They have to keep watching the damn video always, always, always, because it’s going to happen”, to the UmDois Esportes portal.
Roque revealed that Betis coach, Manuel Pellegrini, advised him to watch Romário’s old games in order to improve his ball finishing. Romário stated that several players need to improve their finishing.
Lots of hard work and lots of football! 😂
Tip for Vitor Roque and other current attackers? Watch a little of the little guy’s games, according to him.

Vitor Roque in Spain
The Brazilian was treated as a great revelation by Athletico-PR and traded for around R$390 million to Barcelona. However, in 2024 and in Spain, the player was discarded due to disagreements with former coach Xavi Hernández. The new commander of the Catalan team, German Hans Flick, also did not give up space for the Brazilian.
