Daiane Dias was taken to a nearby hospital with 1⁰, 2⁰ and 3⁰ degree burns across her body
Initial investigations by the Civil Police of Santa Catarina indicate that the attack at the home of Francisco Wanderley Luiz, known as Tiü França, in Rio do Sul (SC), was allegedly caused by his ex-partner, Daiane Dias, aged 41. According to the corporation, she had tried to kill herself on Sunday (17.Nov.2024) after the man caused explosions in front of the STF (Supreme Federal Court), in Brasília (DF), on Wednesday (13.Nov).
The woman allegedly purchased a flammable product early in the morning at a commercial establishment in the city. He then went to the residence and started the fire, having remained inside the property. She was rescued by a neighbor, attended to by the Fire Department and taken to Alto Vale Regional Hospital in serious condition, with burns of 1⁰, 2⁰ and 3⁰ degrees across her body.
The Civil Police opened a police investigation to investigate the facts, which will be chaired by delegate Juliano Bridi. “It is important to highlight that despite the fact recorded this Sunday in Rio do Sul involving two people who knew each other, in principle there is no relationship with the act committed by the man in Brasília”, informed the corporation.
The Fire Department was called around 6am to the incident. Upon arrival, he extinguished the flames, isolated the place and carried out an investigation to identify the causes of the fire. The report should be released within a few days, with a maximum deadline of 30 days. The fire partially destroyed the 50 square meter residence.

Last Thursday (Nov 14) Daiane gave a statement to the PF and stated that Francisco’s objective was to kill the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court, Alexandre de Moraes. On the same day, the PF searched the man’s home in Santa Catarina and seized documents.
“I wanted to kill Minister Alexandre de Moraes and whoever else was with him at the time of the attack”said the ex-wife of the author of the attacks on agents from the PF intelligence sector. Daiane also said that the attack was planned and that there were Google searches about the minister.
