Rafael Nadal’s farewell to tennis begins this Tuesday (11/19). The sports legend announced that he will play his last games in the Davis Cup. Spain will face the Netherlands at 1pm (Brasília time). Nadal should be on the court.
The tennis player will be one of the country’s representatives in the Davis Cup. The duel with the Netherlands will be the best of three games: the first two singles and, if necessary, a third, tiebreaker, played by doubles.
All games take place at the Martin Carpena Arena, in Málaga, Spain. The venue can accommodate up to 11 thousand spectators.
According to the Spanish press, Nadal will open the disputes against Botic van de Zandschulp at 1 pm. Whoever wins the match will play against Germany or Canada in the semifinals on Friday. If Spain is eliminated, Nadal will have said goodbye to tennis.
