Loulé City Council expressed, in a statement, its “deepest regret at the death of architect Vasco Lopes”.
Vasco Miguel Marques Silva Lopes was born on March 23, 1964. He was an employee of Loulé City Council between 1999 and 2001, in the Planning service, having participated in the preparation of the Detailed Plan for the Safeguarding and Enhancement of the Historic Center of Loulé.
“With a vast amount of work carried out in this municipality, including single-family, multi-family and service buildings, more than a hundred interventions have been identified, highlighting that of the Igreja da Misericórdia de Boliqueime”, says the municipality in a statement.
For the Municipality, it also developed several projects, including “the rehabilitation and expansion of two schools, Estação and Nº 3 Loulé, the support building for the heliport in Loulé, the expansion of the António Aleixo Foundation Community Center and, in within the scope of the Housing Location Strategy of the Municipality of Loulé, the multi-family building at Rua de S. Paulo 3 and 5, among others”.
He sends his “most sincere condolences” to the bereaved family.
