Along with the players from the Brazilian team who will face Uruguay this Tuesday (19) in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Lucas Paquetá’s wife, Duda Fournier, arrived in Salvador. On Salvadoran soil, the influencer recorded a video stating that she was afraid of robberies in the city.
The video was initially supposed to only be posted on ‘close friends’, a private section on Instagram. Duda herself begins the recording by stating that she would not post it to the public, but the content ended up leaking and going viral on social media.
Accompanied by a friend who wants to take her to see Salvador’s tourist attractions, Fournier criticized the city’s Historic Center. “Karina is going to make me go to Pelourinho. I took off all my accessories, even my earring, for fear of someone coming and ripping my ear off”, he mocked.
“Then she wants to take me to Farol da Barra. Oh guys, wait, I even took off my ring, the person is a little scared”, said Duda ironically. She received a lot of criticism from internet users.
“A carioca afraid of being robbed? LOL”, commented followers about the insecurity in Rio de Janeiro, state of Duda. “Paquetá’s wife, accused of gambling manipulation, took off her jewelry to walk around Salvador…”, commented another.
On social media, there were also accusations and jokes, with internet users joking that they were going to rob her.
