Internet users made fun of the lack of smiles in the official photos of South American presidents at the G20
The meeting between the Brazilian president (PT) and (Freedom Advancesright), leader of Argentina, on Monday (18.Nov.2024), caused a series of reactions from social media users. Internet users joked about the fact that the photos taken by the two, with serious faces, were different from the images of Lula with other G20 leaders.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), an internet user commented on the cold greeting of the 2 presidents. “Lula making that ‘YOU NOT’ meme“, he wrote.
In another post on X, an internet user said the photos resemble forced family gatherings. “Milei is the annoying cousin you have to take a photo of at Christmas”. Another internet user had the same tone: “End of year celebrations have begun”.
Javier Milei himself joined in the fun with a montage that compares his meeting with Lula with photos with North American President Donald Trump (Republican Party), in which he appears smiling.
