Vasco can exchange LFU for Libra, says columnist

Contract with LFU was signed in 2023; president studies financial viability and awaits legal support to define change

The (Liga Forte União) could lose one of its components. The president of, former player Pedrinho, was convinced by leaders of Libra (Brazilian Football League) to align with the bloc, according to the newspaper Extra.

According to columnist Gilmar Ferreira, the leak of information last week that there was a reduction in the difference in image rights gains between rivals is what justifies Vasco’s alignment with Libra.

In the act, Vasco’s SAF received around R$100 million. In September, the parties reduced the percentage to 10%. If the case becomes part of Libra, the amount would have to be returned.
