Yiannis Kallianos "breaks" hearts: "When my dad died I was a rascal"

An interview on the show “Let’s go to Danae” was given by Yannis Kallianos.

The well-known meteorologist spoke, among other things, about the difficult period he experienced, when and about the relationship with his wife.

“I am very close to my family. Loss cannot be overcome. For the first 15 days after my dad left, I was an asshole. I was crying all day, my child wouldn’t come near me. I was lying on the couch all day. My wife told me to talk to a psychiatrist. I went and saw him and as soon as he asked me about my father I cried for 40 minutes. It helped me with the conversation, without needing pills. This man is responsible for my peace of mind right now.” said Yiannis Kallianos initially.

Regarding meeting and the relationship with his wife, Haris Damianou, Yiannis Kallianos revealed: “I met my wife at a grocery store in Plaka. My father-in-law played bouzouki there and I often went there. One of these times, my wife was also there and we met. Each one knows the other’s faults and we have tied our relationship in such a way that nothing upsets us.”

“When the child came we fought a lot at first, because we were both tired. As a father I am not as good as I would like to be. When I’m with my child I’m perfect, I play with him, I spend time. But I don’t have much free time and I can’t be with him all the time,” concluded the meteorologist.
