In most closets you can probably find an old, thin and metal hanger, which is not very suitable for holding jackets, sweatshirts or sweaters. However, it hides another interesting use. It turns out that it can be a brilliant basis for the preparation of a beautiful and original Christmas decoration. An internet artist recently shared her idea for making one. What else will you need?

  • All you really need are plastic ornaments, preferably in a variety of sizes and colors, even in matching shades.
  • In addition, they should have a built-in holder with a hook.

What to make a Christmas wreath from? Take an old hanger

The instructions for making a Christmas decoration from an old coat hanger and ornaments were shared by Sara, the author of the @saradaviescc profile on Instagram. What did she start with?

  • Use a sharp pen to remove the rounded part of the hanger so that you can insert it into the cabinet. Then use a little force to “untangle” the knitted piece and gently straighten it all first, then arrange it in a circle.
  • Now all you have to do is string the decorations on it. It’s best to do it out of sequence so that the whole thing looks unique. Messy will look much better.
  • When you’re done stringing the ornaments, it’s time to twist the ends of the wire together. Alternatively, you can finish them with tape or glue so that they do not fall apart.
  • Hang the Christmas wreath on the wall or door and it will look great.
