A well-known Slovak presenter, whose voice you will certainly recognize from Smotánka and Radio Expres, became a proud father at the end of October. Vlado Varecha and his wife Patrícia they welcomed a beautiful son into the world, whom they named Timotej.

However, joy was quickly replaced by fear, as their son had to undergo an important procedure that was necessary. “Today we had our baby’s cephalohemoma removed (35 ml in total).” said the presenter’s wife on Instagram.

“It’s not always just pleasant things, but it’s good,” added Varecha, who was certainly also relieved that the procedure went without problems. He is already roaming the streets with a stroller with great joy and enjoying the role of father. You can find a PHOTO of his post in the gallery below the article.

Cephalhematoma occurs during childbirth, when blood accumulates between the skull bone and its covering (periosteum). After that, mainly babies it forms a bulge or bump. In most cases no intervention is necessary because the blood gradually reabsorbs itself over a period of several weeks to months. It is important that the doctor regularly monitors the condition of the baby to avoid possible complications such as infections, anemia or neonatal jaundice.
