Awards for the women’s Paulistão 2024 final
The 2024 Campeonato Paulista Feminino set a new record for prizes, totaling R$3.2 million to be distributed among the participating clubs. This is the third consecutive year that the competition has seen an increase in the value of prizes, but it is still very low compared to the men’s championship – this year’s champion alone took R$5 million.
In the women’s competition, the exact amount paid to 1st place was not disclosed, but the amount is expected to be the same as last year, when the champion team received R$1.5 million, while the runner-up was awarded R$ 500 thousand.
The 2024 Paulistão Feminino featured 11 teams: Corinthians, São Paulo, Palmeiras, Santos, Ferroviária, Red Bull Bragantino, São José, Taubaté, Realidade Jovem, Pinda and Marília. The competition began on May 22 and followed a single round format in the first phase, with the four best teams advancing to the semi-finals.
