The singer Pericles55, debuted on Monday (18) a series of interviews created especially for the black awareness month not BIS channel. Voice of Conscience will celebrate black contribution in the construction of culture not Brazil receiving a list of distinguished guests.
she was the first guest in the series that will also receive names such as the group Fundo de Quintal, Jorge Aragão and Dudu Nobre. Teresa Cristina, Pretinho da Serrinha, Leandro Sapucahy and Chico Brown will also participate in the program, which will be shown every Monday and Friday on BIS.
Using the samba as a starting point and the Rio de Janeiro as a setting, the attraction also shows testimonies from important characters of the genre recorded in Cidade do Samba, the place that houses the Rio Carnival barracks.
Lucinha Nobre (flag bearer of Unidos da Tijuca and owner of six Golden Standards), and Mestre Fafá (drum master of Acadêmicos do Grande Rio and owner of two Golden Standards) and the duo Antônio Gonzaga and André Rodrigues () contribute with testimonials. Alessandra Reis (Head of Props at Viradouro), Andrea Vieira (sculptor), Simone Nascimento (sculptor), Nilcemar Nogueira (samba dancer with a doctorate in social psychology) and Nilce Fran (coordinator of the passista wing at Portela and honorary president of Rosa de Ouro ) will also be in the series.
