Irresistible chocolate candy
Dubai chocolate is not just any sweet. It has become totally viral on the social network TikTok, which is shared across the entire Internet world. The impetus for the creation of this popular chocolate was the pregnancy cravings of entrepreneur Sarah Hamouda living in Dubai.
She created a candy that she had no idea would be such a success. The inspiration for its creation was a candy called Can’t Get Knafeh of It. She thus created Dubai chocolate under the direction of her own company, Fix Dessert Chocolatier.
“We put a lot of effort, love and time into making our chocolates and we want them not to be just a sweet that you eat in a minute, but to create a real experience,” said Sarah Hamoudi.
Chocolate that conquered the world
Currently, this type of chocolate is popular all over the world, and the chocolate factory is literally in one round to satisfy all suppliers. In addition, each piece is handcrafted and hand painted. Therefore, there is a daily limit for the production of this chocolate, which is 500 pieces. Sarah places great emphasis on first-class quality and the use of the best ingredients. The original chocolate weighs 200 g and is sold for $20, i.e. around CZK 480.
Dubai chocolate recipe
To prepare this delicacy, you will need 150 g of cut and separated kataifi dough, 60 g of butter, 360 g of pistachio paste, 20 g of tahini sesame paste, crushed pistachios, a pinch of salt, 500 g of dark or milk chocolate.
Preparation procedure
Begin by preparing the kataifi filling in a large, high-sided pan. Melt the butter in it, add the broken kataifi dough and fry it well until golden and crispy for about 10 minutes. Mix the pistachio paste, tahini and salt in a bowl, then add the kataifi. Then melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a bowl over a water bath until completely smooth.
Using a spoon, pour the chocolate into silicone molds for chocolate or other rectangular molds so that it covers the bottom and sides of the mold in a thin layer, pour off the excess chocolate. Add the crushed pistachios as well. Then let the mold with the chocolate harden in the fridge. Then spread the kataifi mixture over the chocolate and smooth it carefully with a spatula.
Pour the remaining chocolate over it and smooth it properly again. Then the cooling phase in the refrigerator follows again. Once it has hardened, remove the finished chocolate from the mold. If you would like to get as close as possible to the original, you can decoratively pour white chocolate into the molds beforehand, it will look more impressive.
