Chega announced, this Wednesday, that it will abstain from voting on the . The PSD parliamentary leader, Hugo Soares, reacted to the announcement and accused the two parties of constantly attacking the current Government.

“The Socialist Party (PS) and Chega have much more in common than they like to show. Because in words, Chega and PS fight each other fiercely in Parliament. But then on voting day, Chega and PS actually get married always”.

Hugo Soares also accuses the parties of André Ventura and Pedro Nuno Santos of being “accomplices”.

Chega’s leader argues that the pension problem it has to be a national purpose.

“Chega will make it possible in the State Budget, in this specialty, to increase pensions”revealed, this afternoon, André Ventura, in statements to journalists, in the Assembly of the Republic.

The leader of Chega claims that, if the State Budget of the Government of Luís Montenegro maintains a high “level of subsidy allocation” and “fiscal burden”, then it also manages to “reasonably increase the value of pensions”.

André Ventura said that the party – which also presented a proposal to increase pensions, for those earning up to 1018 euros – will abstain and, in this way, make proposals from other parties that include increases for pensioners viable.
