Frost may form in most of Slovakia on Thursday morning. In the Banskobystricky, Prešovský and Žilina regions, it should be expected until the evening. From the evening, warnings against snowfall and, in some places, also against wind, are valid throughout Slovakia. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) reported about it on the website.
First degree warning before ice cream is valid until 10:00 a.m. in the entire Trenčín and Košice regions, also in the districts of Levice, Nitra, Topoľčany, Zlaté Moravce, Hlohovec and Piešťany. Meteorologists warn that the formation of ice represents a potential danger for transport, the movement of people or infrastructure.
From 11:00 p.m. a first-level snowfall warning is valid for the entire territory of Slovakia. SHMÚ warns that five to ten, sometimes up to 20 centimeters of snow may fall. The warning is valid until the morning of Friday (November 22).
At the same time, from 9:00 p.m. issued a wind warning in the Bratislava, Trenčín, Nitra and Trnava regions. It is also valid until Friday. From 6:00 p.m., expect wind in the mountains, in the Banskobystricky, Prešovský and Žilina regions.
