Valeria Ferioli Lagrasta, judge of the 2nd Family and Succession Court of the District of Jundiaí (SP), launches, tomorrow (21), the book “Collective Dialogue Method: Brazilian Solution to Organizational Conflicts“, the result of his doctoral thesis.

The launch will take place at 5:30 pm at the Associação dos Advogados, in São Paulo.

It will be preceded by a “conversation circle” coordinated by Maximilian Fierro Paschoal, lawyer at Pinheiro Neto Advogados.

The author researched ways of resolving conflicts in indigenous, rural and riverside communities in the states of Roraima, Rondônia and Amazonas. From the search “in loco

” and real cases, Lagrasta developed a method applicable to organizational conflicts, land, environmental and business conflicts (such as judicial recovery, company dissolution and over-indebtedness).

Specialists Maria Tereza Aina Sadek, Kazuo Watanabe (the two were supervisors of the master’s thesis and research), Fernando Prazeres, Henrique Ávila and Nathalia Mazzonetto will participate in the dialogue. (**) The aim of the debate is to present to lawyers the“Dialogue Collective Method

“, applicable to closed communities (such as university students in the state of São Paulo) and minority and marginalized communities.Lagrasta understands that if these practices are recognized and publicized, they can broaden the understanding of ” systemmultiportas

” in Justice. In other words, a large entry door, with broad access, and several exit doors, not only the sentence, but also conciliation, mediation, arbitration, etc.

For José Renato Nalini, advisor of Lagrasta’s doctoral thesis, the author “worked with impressive ingenuity when dedicating herself to the in-depth study of systematics carried out in circles excluded from strictly legal doctrinal incidence and offering the community of scholars an apparently promising scenario” .

“Intellectual curiosity, by knowing different realities from the consolidated panorama in which the Judiciary navigates, makes a notable contribution to the improvement of the Justice system.”
