First of all, pheasant meat is a great source iron, magnesium, phosphorus, selenium and B vitamins. Additionally, it contains plenty of antioxidants and valuable protein. There is as much as 100 g of pheasant meat 24 g easily digestible proteinsand only 3.6 g fats.

As a result, pheasant meat is very rich and… lean and light. Low caloric cost will keep you full for long hoursthewill support muscle regeneration and weight loss. Therefore, it should be eaten by athletes and manual workers.

Pheasant meat has properties that allow… maintaining proper cholesterol levels. It has a normalizing effect on both “bad” LDL cholesterol and the “good” HDL fraction. Meaning that will protect the cardiovascular system from the development of many diseases, including atherosclerosishypertension, heart failure.

Eating pheasant meat is positive will affect the nervous system. It will improve your thought processes, will increase concentration and the ability to remember. It will alleviate the symptoms of stress, improve your mood and reduce the risk of anxiety and depression. Moreover, maybe this increase the body’s immunity and eliminate inflammation.

Pheasant played a very important role in Old Polish cuisinewhere he was the main character of many dishes. This meat is perfect for baking. It goes well with fruits such as japples, cranberries, red currants, pears. It is worth pouring it with good white wine and seasoning thyme and rosemary.

You can also prepare an outstanding broth with pheasant. Before cooking, however, the meat should be frozen to make it tender. This soup has a characteristic, unique aroma.
