- Vinegar or lemon juice and glass cleaner – if you’ve bought a window cleaner that you’re not happy with, it’s easy to improve its properties. Just add a few drops of vinegar or lemon juice to the poor quality liquid and it will work much better and not leave streaks;
- Liquid with starch – add ¼ cup of spirit vinegar, 2 cups of distilled water and 1 teaspoon of potato starch to ¼ cup of alcohol. Pour into a spray bottle, shake well and use to clean windows;
- A mixture of vinegar and detergent – to 2 cups of slightly warmed distilled water, add ¼ cup of spirit vinegar and ½ teaspoon of detergent. Wash the windows with this mixture;
- Disinfectant – add 1 cup of distilled water and 1 tablespoon of vinegar to 1 cup of isopropyl alcohol for disinfecting and disinfecting wounds (isopropanol can be bought, for example, at a pharmacy). The product is used for cleaning windows.
Always remember to check how the selected liquid affects window frames and window sills. Regardless of whether you use homemade products or store-bought cleaners, always clean your windows from top to bottom. This will prevent the formation of streaks and dripping of dirty water.
