The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, has announced the launch of a new plan (which also includes Romania) through which he intends to divide Ukraine, according to secret service sources cited on Wednesday by the Ukrainian media ‘New Voice of Ukraine’.
The document records the forecast of the global political-military situation until the year 2044, which Russia intends to make known to the next US government through representatives of other states and governments. Also points out the division of Ukraine in three parts: the new regions of Russia, the disputed territories and the “formation of the pro-Russian state.”
The three parts into which it is divided
Through this project, the country led by Vladimir Putin intends to divide the Ukrainian territory into three parts.
- Las “new regions of Russia”: It brings together those areas that Russia has illegally occupied, which involves the regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporozhye, Kherson, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
- The “formation of the pro-Russian state”: Through the creation of a state entity with a pro-Russian government in kyiv, Sumy, Karkiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa, Cherkassy, Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr.
- “Disputed territories”: This is the western part of Ukraine. Specifically, the Volyn, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Chernivtsi and Transcarpathia regions. At this point other countries would enter, such as Poland, Romania and Hungary, who would help decide the future of these territories.
Possible conflict scenarios
Furthermore, as part of the forecast, Russia proposed four possible scenarios, two of them favorable and two unfavorable.
- Favorable scenarios: The creation of a “multipolar” world and the division of spheres of influence between the main powers and regionalization.
- Unfavorable scenarios: The dominance of the United States and the West and the role of China as the main world power.
The different scenarios raise a possible Russian victory or defeat in the conflict with Ukraine, which the winner of the United States presidential elections, Donald Trump, has already promised to end in “24 hours.”
