Hugh Grant is, in a sense, a masochist. The famous British actor admitted that he searches the Internet for negative reviews of his performanceswhich he himself thinks were worthless. It does him good when he can agree with negative comments about his acting. The father of five has had a successful career in film for decades, but he is not interested in positive reviews.
“Of course it’s beautiful, it’s beautiful,” Hugh responded to the fact that he has had a very successful career. “It would be a lie to say otherwise, but having said that, in my infinite masochism and wretchedness I will admit that I scour the internet looking for negatives.“
The Bridget Jones’s Diary star explained that she had no idea why she was subjecting herself to such practices. “I don’t know, it just draws us to the negative or dark side of life, or at least I do. I think people are sunnier on this side of the Atlantic!” added Hugh in an interview with the American TV program Today.
