The Acre Criminal Police, coordinated by the National Secretariat for Penal Policies (Senappen), launched the 6th phase of operation Mute in the Rio Branco Penitentiary Complex.

During the mega-operation, notes, tobacco and a sharp object were found. The Institute of Penitentiary Administration (Iapen-AC) did not inform the content of the tickets.
The objective is to combat criminal organizations within the prison system and reduce the rate of violence nationwide. The Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime (Ficco), the Federal Police, the Military Police, the Special Border Group (Gefron) and the Integrated Coordination of Air Operations (Ciopaer) also participated in the operation.
