Τροχαίο δυστύχημα: Νεκρός και τραυματίες σε σφοδρή σύγκρουση στα Σπάτα

The 20-year-old Greek student lost her life in a traffic accident. Irini Kontogiorgou was the only one killed out of the seven passengers in the car, which was driven by a drunken peer of hers. The rest were injured.

Her aunt, her father’s sister, spoke on the show “Truths with Zina”. “We are waiting for the conclusion of the Police. You know the driver was under the influence of alcohol… they were all fellow students from different schools. The car was rented by a friend and fellow student of Irini. There were five children and two other friends were following them on scooters. Because it was raining and the road was slippery, they left the scooters and got into the car. The children became seven. There were three in the front, three in the back and one in the trunk. They chose this particular child to drive.”

“It’s a roundabout and they crashed. The car was smashed. Irini had a brain injury, according to the medical examiner’s report, and death was instantaneous,” says her aunt.

“Her mother is in a miserable state”

Irini’s aunt also refers to the mother of the 20-year-old girl, who, as she says, is in a tragic situation. “She lost her only child. She has not yet realized that she has lost her child. He is in a state of shock,” he says.

“To me she was my only niece who was my child and was named after my beloved mother who died young. In Cyprus, the students have been shocked. In fact, they had a celebration now on Saturday, November 23, and they postponed it in memory of Irini,” he said.
