Lebanese authorities say that more than 3,580 people have already died in the country.
At least 52 people were killed in Israeli attacks in eastern and southern Lebanon on Thursday, the Lebanese NNA news agency reported. The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 40 people were killed and 52 others were injured in the attack in the Bikaa Valley in the east of the country. Israeli attacks in the south of the country left 12 dead and 50 wounded. According to the NNA, five children were among the victims of Thursday’s Israeli attacks. The Lebanese News Agency reported at least 12 attacks in the southern suburbs of Beirut on Thursday. TASR informs about it according to the report of the AFP agency.
Israeli army spokesman Avichaj Adrai on Platform X issued several calls for the evacuation of the southern suburbs of Beirut, as well as areas around the coastal city of Sur. However, Israel has not issued any warnings for eastern Lebanon, according to AFP. Adrai says the military “targeted a weapons depot, command post and terrorist infrastructure” linked to Hezbollah.
Israeli rescuers announced that one man was killed after rocket fire from Lebanon hit the Galilee region in northern Israel.
Hezbollah said in a series of statements that it attacked an Israeli airbase near the southwestern Israeli city of Ashdod with a salvo of rockets. Militants also attacked Israeli military units near the southern Lebanese city of Khyam.
