Marshmallows are especially loved by children who eat them straight from the packaging. In turn, adults often add these sweets to hot chocolate or dessert. Unfortunately, this product contains large amounts of sugar. Fortunately, we found a recipe for a diet version of this snack on Tik-Tok.
While mixing the foam mass, we can: additionally enrich it with food coloringthanks to which the colorful foams will look beautiful. In turn, water, which is their ingredient, can be successfully replaced with juice or coffee. We will then obtain a specific aroma.
What ingredients do we need to make sugar-free marshmallows? Here is the basic list:
- 180 g erythritol and 60 ml of water;
- 15 g of gelatin and 40 ml of water;
- 1 tablespoon of aroma, e.g. vanilla, orange, lemon, almond;
- a pinch of salt.
To prepare dietary marshmallows, for starters Mix the gelatin with cold water in a bowl and set aside to swell.
In the meantime Pour erythritol into the pot and pour in water. Cook everything and add salt.
When the “syrup” boils strongly, it gradually pour it into the gelatin filling and add any flavor. Mix all ingredients until foam is formed.
Then we put the foam mass into silicone molds. Diet marshmallows will be ready to eat after 5 minutes.
If we don’t have silicone molds, then… we can pour the foam mass into a larger form lined with food foil. After 5 minutes, we need to remove the foam top and cut it into smaller pieces.
