The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant for the Israeli prime minister, accusing him of war crimes related to the war in Gaza.

Mr. Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders condemned the request by the ICC’s chief prosecutor, Karim Khan, calling it shameful and anti-Semitic.
US President Joe Biden also railed against the prosecutor and expressed his support for Israel’s right to defend itself against Hamas.
The ICC has said that Israel’s acceptance of its jurisdiction is not necessary.
