The president of the Brazilian Bar Association – Sectional Acre (OAB/AC) and candidate for re-election, Rodrigo Aiache (plate 7), voted at 2 pm this Friday (22) in the elections that will choose the institution’s new representative for the 2025/2026 biennium.
Aiache’s opponent is lawyer Marina Belandi (plate 5).
“It is a very happy and important moment. It’s the celebration of democracy taking place within the OAB. We worked hard for 3 years. The legal profession saw that we dedicated ourselves, we gave ourselves and we still have more to deliver. So, we are happy and confident that each lawyer will freely choose their representative”, said the current president of the OAB.
Regarding the controversies surrounding the electoral process, Rodrigo says he always ran a clean contest.
“I have always run a clean campaign, valuing ethics, fairness. I’ve always worked this way. I do not support any type of aggression, adjectives. I can’t support that. We have always worked ethically, and that is how it will be”, he concluded.
The election, which started this morning, should end at 5pm.
