Russia launched another large-scale drone attack on Ukraine. Two drones still remain in Ukrainian airspace.
On Friday night, Russia launched 114 drones into Ukraine in another large-scale airstrike, of which 64 were shot down by air defense systems and another 41 were lost. According to the Reuters agency, the Ukrainian army informed about this on Friday, writes TASR.
In the case of 41 drones, their location is unknown, which is probably a consequence of Ukrainian electronic warfare. Two other drones left Ukrainian airspace and flew to Russia and Belarus. In a statement on Telegram, the military warned that combat operations are continuing and four drones are still in Ukrainian airspace. However, she did not provide information about the consequences of the night attack.
Russia regularly carries out drone and missile strikes on Ukrainian cities and towns that lie far behind the front line. On Tuesday, Ukraine, which has been resisting the Russian invasion since February 2022, launched 122 drones and fired six missiles.
