Ana Marcela Cunha is seven-time champion of the Open Water World Circuit

Brazilian Ana Marcela Cunha secured this Friday (22) her seventh title in the World Open Water Circuit. The feat achieved after the 32-year-old Bahian woman finished the Saudi Arabian stage in seventh place, which took her to a total of 2,750 points on the circuit, against the 2,648 points of German Lea Boy, who also competed in all five stages of the season.

In the 2024 season, Ana Marcela won the Italian stage, came second in Portugal, closed the competition in Egypt in fifth place, secured ninth place in Hong Kong and finished seventh in Saudi Arabia this Friday.

The gold medalist at the Tokyo Games (2020) had already won the World Tour title in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2018, 2021 and 2022.
