A woman named Bella They got depressed she thought she had contracted an exotic infectious disease. In reality, it was a much more serious condition that nearly killed her. , doctors found that there was a dangerous tumor in her brain that required thorough treatment.
The symptoms were caused by an insidious cancer
30-year-old Bella, who is an avid traveler, this year she visited many exotic countries, including Costa Rica. But after returning home to London in August, she had an unexpected seizure while visiting a shopping mall. “I remember how I she woke up on the floor and I didn’t know what happened. Then I laughed in disbelief when my friend told me I had a seizure,” she said.
They therefore took her to the hospital, where doctors initially thought he was suffering from neurocysticercosis. It is an infectious disease that often infects patients in exotic countries. “The radiologist claimed that what he sees looks more like a parasite. I traveled a lot, so I trusted him,” added Bella.
However, examination instead of infection revealed something much more insidious. It was a large mass on the brain, with which Belle’s doctors diagnosed cancer. Just a few weeks later, the woman underwent an operation in which her surgeons removed a 1.2-centimeter tumor. Currently, too she underwent six weeks of intensive radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
The passionate traveler noted that due to her diagnosis, she postponed her remaining plans for the year, including a trip to India. But she pointed out that she will visit this country as soon as she is healthy. It is not at the same time the first time her family was affected by a similar insidious disease, as Bella lost her older sister Carmen in the same way in 2003.
Bella went on to explain that she will try to raise funds for brain tumor research. So far she has succeeded to raise more than 7 thousand pounds and will continue to participate in similar charity events. “Few people realize how little money is invested in such research, which is why support is so important to me. I don’t want to be just another number in the statistics. hope for yourself and others who have been diagnosed with this disease“, she clarified.
