The body of former governor and former federal deputy Flaviano Melo arrived at Rio Branco International Airport, around 11:40 pm this Friday (22).
The arrival of the body was attended by family, friends and admirers, in addition, supporters of the MDB, of which Flaviano was state president, were also present at the airport.
After disembarking, the body will go to the funeral home responsible for preparations for the wake, which should begin at around 3 am on Saturday (23), at Palácio Rio Branco.
The space was prepared to receive those who wish to pay their last respects to Flaviano, who leaves a legacy of decades dedicated to Acre politics and the development of the state.
The funeral is scheduled for 4:40 pm this Saturday at the São João Batista Cemetery, where family, friends and admirers will be able to say goodbye to the former governor. Political authorities such as the head of the State Executive, Gladson Cameli, Jorge Viana, federal deputy Socorro Neri, and the mayor of Rio Branco, Tião Bocalom, are expected at the wake.
