The body of Flaviano Melo, former governor and former federal deputy for the state of Acre, arrived in Rio Branco on Friday night (22) and was received by family, friends, MDB members and admirers.
The procession continued from Rio Branco International Airport to a funeral home in the city, in an atmosphere of strong commotion.

The wake will begin in the early hours of this Saturday (23), at Palácio Rio Branco, The ceremony is open to the public, allowing citizens, political allies and admirers to pay their last respects to the politician who held positions such as mayor, governor, federal deputy and senator.

The burial is scheduled for 4:40 pm, at the São João Batista cemetery, in Rio Branco.
