Danish Martin Braithwaite found the net again for Grêmio. Last Wednesday night (20/11), he opened the scoring in a 2-2 draw against Juventude, at Arena do Grêmio, in a duel valid for the 35th round of the Brazilian Championship.
The striker found the back of the net in the first few minutes of the match, after being called in by Diego Costa and hitting the spot.
Braithwaite, 33 years old, was announced by Grêmio on July 31st and debuted on August 10th. THE Sporting News shows an x-ray of the attacker’s numbers by Immortal.

In 16 games for Grêmio so far (14 for the Brasileirão and two for the Libertadores), Martin Braithwaite scored seven goals for Grêmio, in addition to contributing two assists.
The goals were against Cuiabá (two, in the debut), Atlético-MG, Flamengo, Fortaleza, Fluminense and Juventude.
The assists came against Red Bull Bragantino at Atlético-GO.

Who is Martin Braithwaite?
Martin Braithwaite is a Danish striker revealed by French football. He became a professional with Toulouse and played for several smaller teams in Europe before signing with Barcelona in 2020, in one of the team’s least inspired recent phases.
For the Catalan club, he played 58 games, scored 10 goals and provided five assists. It only won one title, the 2020/21 Copa del Rey.
After Barcelona, he went to Espanyol, where he had a great time, despite playing in the Spanish second division.
The contract proposal offered by Grêmio to the player was 18 months. Braithwaite was without a club after leaving Espanyol.
For the Danish national team, he played 69 games, with 10 goals and six assists. He was present at the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
