The survey, which involved more than 27,000 participants from 33 countries, identified nine emerging trends in the travel sector. One of the main trends is night tourism, with a focus on activities linked to astronomy, in addition to the growing demand for experiences that promote health and longevity. Technology, especially artificial intelligence, is becoming essential in travel planning, with 49% of respondents expressing interest in using it to create their itineraries. Another trend observed is the increase in multigenerational travel. An interesting fact is that 55% of Colombians prefer to invest in travel experiences rather than leaving legacies. Additionally, there is a growing interest in travel aimed at well-being and self-development, with 21% of the baby boomer generation expressing a desire for adventure vacations.
