Two brothers, who had been looking for each other for more than 40 years, met again in the interior of Santa Catarina. The case took place in the city of Itapema, in the interior of Santa Catarina, on November 15th.
According to the Santa Catarina Police, a man who worked at the city police station asked for help finding his sister, who he had never met and had been looking for since she was little.
The painter said that at the time he was taken in by a family that had greater purchasing power and that the biological mother was unable to regain contact with her daughter, and they never met again, but always looked for her.
With the request for help, the Santa Catarina police began researching all security systems. During the research, the man’s sister was located in the city of Joaçaba.
Family reunion
The family members met again on November 15th. The man, who is a painter, thanked the police officers. “I am grateful to the staff and police officers who provided all of this for our family,” he said.
“I sought help from many public bodies, I sought help from different places and here, working at the Itapema Police Station, I got my sister’s number. There is no explanation for our joy”, said the emotional man.
The painter also said that, after the first meeting, he wants to bring the family together again at the end of the year.
