The largest regional tournament in the country, the Copa do Nordeste takes place in the first half of each year. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced the pre-Cup clashes, unique games that are worth a place in the group stage. The competition will be broadcast on Nosso Futebol.
The Copa do Nordeste brings together the main clubs in the region. Bahia, Fortaleza, Vitória, Ceará, Sport, Náuticos and other teams are already classified. Fortaleza is the current champion.
In the pre-Cup, 16 clubs participate, which face each other in two knockout stages.
- First knockout stage: January 4th and 5th
- Second knockout stage: January 8

The duels take place on the first weekend of the year, on January 4th and 5th, 2025. Times and locations are yet to be defined.
