The TikTok account @spicy4tuna has published a video in which it focuses on a new economic source that emerged in Andorra several years ago, the fees for the personalization of license plates of cars registered in the Principality, and which already exceeds 99,600 ‘me like’.
“Car license plates in Andorra have one letter and four numbers, but the Government gives you the possibility of personalizing it by paying more,” can be seen beginning the explanation to the content creator, during a conversation with the well-known YouTuber Willy Rex, who jokes answering: “I removed it.”
“The cheapest is two letters and three numbers, that’s 300 euros,” he continues, listing the different prices depending on the level of customization desired. “Three letters and two numbers are 500 euros. If you want combinations with four letters and a number it is 1,000 euros,” he explains, noting that “if you want five letters, it is 3,000 euros, which means ‘Willy’ would cost you three thousand.” . The next one is already going to 6,000 euros.

He has also cited the figure obtained for the Andorran coffers with this measure, since it was implemented in 2017. “And they published how much they had collected from the personalization of the license plates,” he points out, specifying that it was “300,000 euros.” And he reflects: “It seems like shit, but of course, Andorra is a very small town.”
