At 24 years old, the Santos goalkeeper signs a contract until December 31, 2028; in a statement, the athlete promised to make history with the shirt of the ‘Biggest club in the world’
This Saturday (23), the announced this Saturday the goalkeeper’s contract renewal who signed until December 2028. He arrived at the club in February and ended up taking over as a starter after João Paulo was injured. His good performances guaranteed him a new contract and increased salary. “I’m very happy, I feel privileged to be able to be at a club the size of Santos. It was a year in which we achieved our goals, I hope to be able to continue making my history here and I am grateful to God for everything he has done in my life”, said Brazão, who ended up being one of the team’s highlights in winning Series B and in the return to the national football elite
“My whole life has been full of great challenges and Santos is prepared for Serie A, it is a giant club and we are sure that it will be a special season for us too, just like 2024 was, and we let’s achieve our goals again”, he added. Gabriel Brazão is 24 years old and played for Santos in 30 games this season. The player will be on the field this Sunday, at the end of the Brazilian Series B. The São Paulo team faces Sport, at 6:30 pm, on Ilha do Retiro, in Recife. During the year, he received inquiries from teams in England and Italy.
“Individually it was a very special year, in which I was able to have my streak and demonstrate my virtues, my qualities and in terms of the group we achieved all the objectives that were proposed to us at the beginning of the season”, he said. Finally, he promised to make history with the Santos shirt. “We will make history together, we will win titles, we will achieve all our goals together and it is an immense joy to be at the biggest club in the world.”
