will begin serving cheeseburgers on flights departing from Boston, as part of a new partnership with the New York-based burger chain.
But not all Delta customers will be entitled to the treat. Only first class passengers on routes longer than 1,400 kilometers will be able to pre-select a Shake Shack cheeseburger as their meal option starting December 1, the airline said.
Passengers will receive a Caesar salad, fries and a dark chocolate brownie in addition to their cheeseburger, according to the release.

Delta said it plans to expand this offering to other U.S. markets throughout 2025, but did not specify whether this would apply to main cabin customers.
“A delicious cheeseburger is an iconic food — our customers know that, which is why burgers are among the most-ordered menu items we offer, and we’re excited to elevate that offering with Shake Shack,” said Stephanie Laster, director administration of Delta Onboard Services.
