The Superior Military Court (STM) received several actions against minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), in the last months of the Jair Bolsonaro (PL) government, after the former president’s defeat in the 2022 elections.
The Court is the highest body of Military Justice, but does not have the power to judge STF ministers. The information was released by O Estado de S.Paulo.
Bolsonaro’s supporters sought, unsuccessfully, to circumvent this impediment, according to the newspaper’s findings. At least one of the shares would have been registered in the name of the former president, without his authorization.

All actions were rejected due to lack of competence of the Military Court, without analysis of the merits. The Court’s ministers classified the processes as outside their jurisdiction.
