Mirrors are an integral part of the equipment of every house or apartment. In addition to practical functions, they also fulfill a decorative role and visually enlarge the space. Unfortunately, despite thorough cleaning, unsightly smudges and stains can appear on the mirror. If you are wondering how to deal with this problem, try home remedies. Thanks to them, you will have a perfectly clean mirror without much effort and persistent streaks.

Why are there streaks on the mirror?

Mirrors can be used almost anywhere – in the bathroom, bedroom or hall. They fulfill not only a useful function, but also optically enlarge and brighten the interior. Mirrors require regular cleaning, which is key to maintaining their attractive appearance. Soap deposits, dust and fingerprints are the most common causes of dirt on the glass surface. Unfortunately, it often happens that after cleaning the mirror, numerous streaks appear on it. In such a situation, all our work is simply wasted.

Are you wondering why there are streaks on the mirror? They can arise for various reasons. One of them is greasy dirt that appears as a result of touching the surface with hands. If you clean the mirror improperly or use unsuitable products, the stains spread when wiping the surface and leave behind unsightly smudges. That is why it is so important to use suitable preparations for cleaning mirrors. In addition to preparations, the type of material chosen for cleaning is also important. It turns out that paper towels are not the best choice, as they quickly deteriorate under the influence of moisture and leave fibers. For this purpose, it is worth choosing microfiber towels that do not leave streaks and absorb dirt well.
