Federal deputy Bia Kicis (-DF) criticized Brazilian justice for the Federal Police’s indictment of the former president (PL) in the case in which he is suspected of involvement in a coup d’état scheme in 2022.
“This horrendous inversion of values led by the condominium of power by the ‘juristocracy’ and the left, currently in power, descended to the lowest level of degradation with the indictment of President Jair Bolsonaro and dozens of his collaborators for alleged involvement in an alleged coup attempt and assassination of high-ranking authorities”, he said.
The speech was made during a solemn session this Friday (22), in honor of Cleriston Pereira da Cunha, arrested for the coup acts on January 8 and died after a sudden illness in the Papuda Penitentiary Complex, in 2023.
The deputy referred to the episode of depredation of the headquarters of the Three Powers as a “peaceful” demonstration, by citizens “armed with Bibles and crucifixes”. In her speech, Bia Kicis also defended the amnesty PL, which grants pardon to those involved in January 8th.
